Carolyn Harper – Dreaming of Freedom: Portraits of Prisoners
Join us for the opening reception of August’s guest artist, Carolyn Harper.
Carolyn is a textile artist. Her work features hand embroidered batik and hand sewn art quilts of individuals who have been impacted by mass incarceration.
Her work has a strong social justice component as she creates portraits of people or groups who have been marginalized, discriminated against, or abused.
