Participants are welcome to bring clay tools, if they have them. Supplies included otherwise. Minimum of 5 students, maximum 12. Please reserve space. Ages 8-adult.
Touching on the basics of hand building with clay: pinch, slab and coiling. Animal totems will be created the firstsession. Textured wall tiles in the second session. The kiln-fired pieces will be decorated with wax crayons, stains and acrylic paint washes. With clay, the first day is the actual hand building and the second day is the decorating of the pieces that have been fired in the kiln.
